:) Hello,
I'm new on the Corvette Forum, french,42 and hope to buy my Corvette this week.
Does someone has a feedback (+ or -) for the dealer ALLVETTE.NET (Corvettes Wanted, getavette (ebay) in West Conshohocken, PA) ?
I would like to know what are the most important points I have to check before to buy it
I'm particularly interested in 2003, 1 owner with 6000 miles.
Carfax Here (http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory/p/Report.cfx?partner=DVW_1&vin=1G1YY12S835114702)
If you have information about the dealer and that car (n°319) please advise.
Regards.

I have no experience with this Vette dealer however-general advice is to have the Corvette checked out first by an independent individual if an older Corvette or in this case, for a newer Vette, a Dealer that does much Corvette work. Our Club sponsor has a great Corvette Tech. The Dealer name is Bryner Chevrolet in Jenkintown, Pa. (Maybe 15 or 20 miles from Conshohocken, Pa). The Tech that does great Corvette work is Steve Spencer. The Phone number at Bryner is 215-886-3140. I would call Bryner, confirm they will do the pre-purchase inspection and the cost, then coordinate having the dealer get the car to Bryner to be checked out.

I contacted Lou (Corvettes Wanted) and he agrees that a member of CCDV comes to see the car for me. Do you think it will be possible just to have a look on it ?
Again thanks.

Are you really in France? If so why would you have picked a car out from this company? I live twenty miles away from allvette.net but have never heard of them. If your really interested in buying a Vette from them take the advise from Bob Weiss.

To all parties concerned, I happen to detail all the Corvettes at the W.Conshohocken location. If you want honest vehicle condition, then please ask me and we can visit the warehouse anytime: day or night. Lou is a good guy to work with and many of his vettes are sold at lower prices than most. I will be more than glad to take any CCDV member to check out the vehicle. Feel free to call me at 215-778-4722.

Hello,
thank you very much for your help.
As you can see in my profil I'm living in France so it's not easy for me to have a real good idea about the car only with pics. So I would really appreciate your offer. I'm sorry but I prefer to communicate by e-mail because I have some difficulties to understand correctly by phone.
Could you contact Lou and fix a visit ?
Again thanks & have a good day.
Kind regards.

JM, Vince (Plain Insane) knows what he is looking as far as visible condition is concerned as he is a professional auto detailer. I would still not buy without having Bryner's Technician (Steve Spencer) check it out. to many electronic items to check and steve knows where to look for any historical weaknesses. Steve will check for electronic codes, etc. My original advice stands. If the car comes to Bryner-I may be able to run over and Look at it as Bryner is close to my office and home.

Bob,
I already promise to buy the car, dealer is waiting for money transfer and e-mail me the bill of sale on which I have to sign and fax back .
I will normally travel to US next week to see the car. Is there a chance that you can contact the dealer, Lou, and ask for a check out at Bryner's? Just let me know before how much it will cost.
Again thanks for you precious help.
Regards.

JM, I called Bryner Chevrolet for you and the cost to do a pre-purchase inspection is $65-$75.00 US dollars. I think you should call Bryner to arrange this, The Service consultant there is Steve Fisher and make sure the inspection is done by Steve Spencer. Steve Fisher's direct Number is 215-572-2408 he will even take your call on his cell phone at 267-278-3356. After you speak with Steve Fisher call (or email) the Corvette dealer and arrange for them to get the car to Bryner. If you are Buying the car make the purchase contingent upon a satisfactory inspection by Bryner. You should have Lou at the corvette dealer pay for this and add it to the price you are paying for the car.
I am the owner of a business and not comfortable getting involved in your purchase or arranging this for you as this involves money and international transfers of funds,Etc and I frankly-don't know you.
Just my thoughts and Good Luck.

Good Luck with your "NEW" wheels. Glad to hear you are satisfied. Pay attention to this web site as there is always new information. Such as the weight alignment post just recently added.
