5 covered bridges in Bucks County??
There are 11 or 12 of them still left...
Check this out => Covered Bridges in Bucks County (http://www.davidhanauer.com/buckscounty/coveredbridges/)
We take cruises through many of them (there are a few in close by western NJ too) a few times each year just for fun.....
If you want to know some cool roads or an entire route to see a bunch of them, I'd be glad to help......
The Uhlerstown Covered Bridge is a must see AND a must drive through and up the hill on the other side. This part of Uhlerstown road is closed during the winter. That may give you an idea of the fun it can bring.. :D
Here's a shot just after crossing the Uhlerstown Covered Bridge ==> PIC (http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c5/glennm27//08240804.jpg)

Ron:
CCDV has done a few club caravans through these bridges in the past. Maybe we can get Pete Carroll to lead another one for us? I think he organized the last few. Just meet someplace local on a nice spring day, do the run & end up at a nice restaurant? Sounds good to me!!

Might I suggest eating at the Country Place on route 313?
Good food and even better prices! It's like they are using a menu from the 70's! Last fall I helped organize the road tour for DelVal NCRS, the CP is on the route just after about seeing seven of the bridges.
Here's a link with driving directions included......

I'd be interested - I'm from Berks County (Reading area) but like to drive all around.
When are you going so I can add it to my calendar? It's filling up fast!

Glenn, I have a photo of Don T trying to explain to Nick how to use a TomTom.... Don was tearing his hair out. Could you imagine a caravan of Corvettes driving aimlessly around Bucks county till they ran out of gas?:eek::eek:
Love ya Nick!!!

If Nick leads the way we'll probably all discover some places we never knew existed and don't know how to get home from.
I'm game for a cruise though.
