Calling all Digital Camera Guru's

Don't know if the battery is going or the camera is messing up but the battery was on charge for over 8 hrs. and it only has 27 min. of life in it. Camera is a SonyDSC-S70 and the battery is the original one that came with it, Purchased in '99. Is it time for a new battery or does the camera need to be serviced?

Tony, I'd try a battery first. That would be the cheapest service call any way.

A 4 year old battery? I'd say the battery is the culprit of your problems for sure.

Tony, like tires and clutches, batteries wear out. Especially the specialized re chargable ones that are used in alot of electronic equipment. ;yn I'd get one ASAP so you're not in the cold over Christmas. By the way, how's the foot?

I agree with others, you battery needs to be replaced.

Tony how are you, I was really sad when I heard ROSE ran over your foot. I hope you are feeling better real soon. I guss that will teach you not to give her the boot when she wants to drive the Vette :D :D :D . Get new battery soon, Have a great Holiday Guy's.
