Nick,it's a 5 minute job:however, you need the car on a lift.Next time you get an oil change is a good time.

Come on Nick, drive it like a Z06 and it will never bother you! It's only gonna get in your way if you are shifting to 2nd at 1200-1500 RPM's..... and that's way too soon to be shifting that car. :D :D :D

My boys pointed out to me, that on LS1.com under Mods, there are instructions on how to by-pass the CAGs. the parts cost less than two dollars can be located at Radio Shack.

The parts are 2200 or 2.2K ohm ½ watt (Radio Shack), Electrical Tape and Tie Wrap. It takes about 10 minutes to do and costs less than two dollars.

That CAGs bypass is a real pain in traffic and was the first mod to my Vette.

Glenn,I have to disagree with you.On my '99 FRC,the 1-4 was not
a problem. However,on the Z06,the difference in gear ratios between the M6 & M12 boxes really makes the 1-4 very annoying and very inconvenient.I never had the CAGS on the '99 but it was
the 1st thing I put on the '02 almost immediately!

Norm, you are correct;however, the bottom line is that the biggest
obstacle is not the price, but getting underneath the car.

What's this CAGS thing??? Just step on the gas and the light goes out!!! :D :D :D :D :D And for Richy and Norm your 4th gear is like our 2nd , so I see no problem!!!! :D :D :D

Norm,Joel,The car is unreal.Norm,I'm sure you know already what
a blown car is like, but this is the 1st car I've ever had with an after market sc.When you floor it,there is a roar from the back that sounds like a bull elephant being gored to death as all that
excess air is exhausted thru the Corsa's & things get very small in the rear view mirror very quickly.
Passengers are invited after signing the appropriate release forms.
