Don -

Been thinking about this one -

I can't tell if late model Corvettes are able to enter.

It's in your neighborhood. Any insight?

This show is NOT for C4, C5 or C6 Corvettes...

This is for OLD, classic, mint condition, stock automobiles..

Glenn is right but I don't think they have to be 100% stock. I had the '76 in that show several times & it's NOT stock. Then again, maybe they couldn't tell?? I used to take the '76 to Macungie when the cut off was 1970 so I told them it was a '70 & they didn't have a clue! They do have some EXCELLENT & rare automobiles at this show so it's worth going to even if you don't show your pride & joy!!

I've been to this show a few times. My 1999 is too new to show, but back in 2001 (a few days after the WTC was destroyed) they let Corvettes line up (but not be judged) with the "real" classics. A few years later newer Corvettes were placed in the back away from the "real" classics, while C1s, C2s and C3s were allowed to be judged.

I will never go back and certainly never take my Corvette. I'm not interested in being treated like a "distant black sheep in the family" at a show hosted and attended by pompous and pretentious jerks with expensive garage queens raising money in order to keep their section of Bucks County from further development. ;td

The last time I went they had about 10 Corvettes in the show about 4 were CCDVers. However the Corvettes were older no C4s or newer. It is a nice show to go and see a bunch of rare cars in one place. Rolls, Dusenbergs, Packards, Jags etc... They have about 150 cars totloa. All cars that have never been in the show before need to fill out an application send in a Pix to be accepted. This is not unusual for any Concours D'elegance.

WIKIPEDIA:Often the competitiveness of a Concours d'Elegance forces restoration of a vehicle to surpass 'mint' condition. Mint condition would be the state of the vehicle when it originally left the factory. Concours-quality cars are often given upholstery, paint, chrome (or nickel) plating and mechanical restoration far exceeding that of the car when new.

Concours d'Elegance competitions are also run for classic cars. Here, the emphasis is as much on originality as the condition, although this is also very important. The general aim is to produce a vehicle that is in the same (or better) condition it was in when it left the production line. Non-original modifications are not allowed, and components must be suitable for the year and model of the car. Even components or features fitted to cars of the same type but in a different production year or trim level are not allowed. Original-equipment accessories from the manufacturers own range are allowed, and some competitions allow after-market equipment and accessories provided they are of the correct period. On top of this, cars must be presented in flawless visual condition as with other Concours-grade cars.
