Which tires?

Am having my '72 painted pewter silver...

Not trying to be original just looking for the right look !
Should I go "raised white letter", "redline" or just plain "blackwall" ?

I think the Blackwalls would go great with the Pewter & accent the black in the rims. Raised white would be adding another unnecessary color to the mix.

Pewter, those TT wheels with Blackwall tires. HOT LOOKING!
Raised White letters look good with factory Rallye wheels, but with those Torque Thrusts you have
to go Blackwalls

I have seen them black and with raised letters, both look great, I would go for the blackwalls myself. :)

Mike's right. I never thought about it but maybe a lighter color car shows raised lettering nicer. I had a silver 73 Lemans with raised lettering and it looked great however I had a dark green Firebird with lettering and it stood out too much.

Thanks for all the input...deceided to go with the raised white letters ! Got a set of Goodyear Eagle GT II's (225-15R) Really liked the "redlines" but couldn't see paying "Mr. Coker" twice as much for them as the cost of the same exact tire with RWL from tire rack!

It's gonna be a beauty when done...only 1,372 C3's were painted pewter and it was only available in '72 ( I bet most of them are painted some other color by now) That is mine's original color.

You should give Jerry Martin a call at Charger Metals in Phila! The guy does great work! Jerry did my three bumpers in one week and gave me door to door service! He lives nearby, I think in Wrightstown.
