Upcoming Activities forum

Something changes not too long ago that changed the way new threads are handled in the Upcoming Activities forum. You used to be able to post in there just like any other forum. But now, new posts there are considered Calendar Entries. Is there any way to go back to the old way or add an "Upcoming Activities Discussion" forum?

I requested a fix for that, ohhhhh..... about a year ago. Still not fixed. Thanks for noticing. ;)

Do you think the Upcoming Event and Activities heading should be exclusively for CCDV events and another heading be available for all others?

Looks like Bill already did that.

Now how about we move "Updates & Announcements" to the General Discussion forum and change the name to Announcements, since it's basically used for Birthday wishes etc.
