CCDV 50th Anniversary Picnic & Show and Shine

Come out and celebrate CCDV's 50th Anniversary in the park with a Pig Roast and Show & Shine.

Members will receive invitations in the mail.

Yes, it is a two day event. Sept. 6 is the Banquet and Sept. 7 is the Picnic and Show & Shine. The events are for CCDV Members only. Invitations will be sent to all members with details of the events.

For now we thought we'd like to post it on the calendar so you can plan ahead. Dennis & Debbie Trayes are organizing these events and they will be sending the invitations out soon. Thanks for the question.

No, there are no plans for a club photo at either of these events. One of the other 600 plus members can plan that one. :D

Have you thought any more about inviting Alan Colvin, the editor of Corvette Fever magazine to attend the picnic on Sunday perhaps as our celebrity speaker for that day? I'm sure Bob Sutter or Dick Moritz can get in touch with him.

In answer to your question. We are at about 80 guests for the banquet, but over 100 for the picnic. This is a normal percentage for this club. There are 18 more days to respond, so there is plenty of time.

Norristown Farm Park.

From PATP Norristown exit (Exit #333).
Stay to your left after toll.
Turn left at light onto Plymouth Rd.
Follow to next traffic light and turn right onto rte 422 Germantown Pike.
Follow 2.5 miles to rte 202. Cross over 202 (staying on Germantown Pike)
Follow another 1.5 miles and turn left at North Wales Rd (2nd left after you cross over single RR track)
Once you make that left, (stay to your right) and just follow that road around to the picnic
