I need help coming up with a price for a 1961 Corvette Convertible. The car is mostly unassembled and a good project car. There is presently a 350 LTI bored and completly rebuilt. I believe the original engine is still available. As far as we know all other numbers are matching. What I need is someone to help by coming out and looking at the car to give their opinion. The car belongs to my stepson, his father was in the process of rebuilding the car a few years when he passed away. David is being pressed into moving the car from its storage place and he doesn't have much of an option other than to put it up for sale. I would just like to have someone help with putting a fair value on it. I know there are a few members with lots of experience with early 60's cars.

Thanks Jim

Jim, The NCRS Driveline Had two early 60's Vettes posted there that need restoring. One for $20,000. (Must Be Bad) and one for $26,000 that is disassembled and the frame is restored and engine rebuilt.

If you want someone to look at it I might suggest Dick Robinson at Robinson Restorations in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. Dick is a VERY knowledgeable-nationally noted expert on early corvettes. Call me or PM me if you want more info.
