The January car of the month is Bill Burkholder's 2000 Hard Top. This was the last year for the FRC as a non ZO6. Only 2090 units were built and of that number 315 were Artic White.
“I purchased the car in October 2001. The changes I have made over the last few years would probably bother a NCRS person, but we all like to personalize our cars. My mods include B&B PRT exhaust, Breathless Ram Air cold air intake and power duct, PIAA driving lights, 2004 sport seats, Kirban Short Shifter with an old school cue ball knob and custom shifter boot, Ebrake boot door pulls and Grab bar cover, Euro tail lights, clear corners up front, clear side markers and third brake light. Ajure Diamond Cut back up light/ license plate holder, C6-ZO6 wheels 18"/19" with Michelin Pilot PS-2 265/35/18s & 305/30/19s. The car was lowered on stock bolts by CCDV members Glenn Murphy and Mark Sandler at the Liquid Assets Lounge. Thanks guys!! I've been lucky this year and was awarded some nice trophies. The two best were second place in class at the Vette Magazine Show and Go, Englishtown, NJ and I tied for first place at the 2007 Cavalcade, C5 class. I still love the car. Sometimes I go out to the garage just too stare at it (I know I'm not the only person who does that). I'd also like to thank Bryner Parts and Service for being there when I needed them, a great club sponsor!!
Thanks also to all the friends I have made in CCDV over the last 11 years; you're like a second family.”
