I bought what was supposed  to be a set of Tri-Flo, Route 66 mufflers off ebay awhile ago that were supposed to have this PRT technology. The sound was great but the resonance between 1400-1700 RPMs (50-60 mph) was so bad I had to take them off. Can someone, with the real thing, tell me if this PRT technology does eliminate low RPM resonance? (I’m driving a 99 Vert A4 with 2:73 gears)
Thanks, Bud :D
Talk to Ellis Gray, there was a problem with some of the early B&B PRT with resonance at low rpm's, he had a set or two that B&B replaced and he could tell you what he did

Another thing you can try is to install an X-pipe, it may help.
After 2 sets of B&B's, with my A4 car, I say Purge Resonance Technology "my eye"!
If you don't want resonance or drone get the GHL's.

Stone Crusher I see you live in Hamiton Twp. There's a place on Hamilton ave. Called Mufflex they specialize in performance exhaust. I have a C4 and about a month ago I had them install a set of SS Magna Flows. Great mufflers, great job, fair price too. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
