Is anyone from the club going to the event this year?
Not sure I'll be able to make it but I'd like to at least send along a gift if someone would take it there.
Dave Salvatore said that last year, there were about 300 cars pre-registered but 533 actually showed. So far the number of pre-registered cars are up to 550. It may well be mad that day; he said they are planning for many more to show and mentioned that several folks from GM will be there to talk / give presentations. Should be lots of food and they will be giving out some door prizes, he mentioned.

Thread moved...
Everyone, listen up!
Please don't post to year old threads asking if people are interested in meeting somewhere. People will re-read the thread not realizing it's OLD. Please remember, when you post to an old thread it BECOMES NEW AGAIN. It's easy to confuse old events because the same event happens every year, except you will have people showing up on the wrong day!
Here's an easy solution... Don't post to old threads. Start a new one and POINT to the old one if you must.
Feel free to post a link to the old thread below, at least people will know they're being re-directed. Sorry for the intrusion but your post could have really screwed up Ed Bonks week! ;bl

I have heard from previous years from guys here and on corvetteforum that its a complete zoo. I recall one guy saying that he simply walked in the dealership, put his gift on the pile and left in disgust. The traffic on the expressway was completely FUBAR and the facility couldn't accommodate everyone. I imagine that it must be good for some or else it wouldn't continue.
I am a two time Kerbeck (Dave Salvatore) customer, but I will pass on this trainwreck. There are lots of Toys for Tots collection bins in retail stores around here which I always contribute to. They even put a bin in the lobby of my workplace.
Was there a few years back, and there was a lot of cars then, this year is suppose to be huge, love to go but will still be away.

JT, I have heard the same, AND seen pictures from last year. It WAS a complete disaster. Way to many cars and this year they are expecting much more than last year. They parked most of the cars across and down Albany Ave, NOT at Kerbecks. This year I believe they plan on using the stadium's parking lot, a few blocks up Albany Ave..
It's all for a great cause, but I would not get near it.
Here's a shot of them all ripping down the AC Expressway

12 miuntes and twenty seconds to watch 533 corvettes plus the intermittent "I have get off here" car. Sheesh.... you guys were not kidding.
