This was supposed to be a pleasant weekend with my daughter and my two grandchildren, but instead a sad event took place on Sat. AM. Elaine's father passed away at 9:00 AM on Sat. at the St. Joseph's Manor nursing facility, adjacent to The Holy Redeemer Hospital. He had been in both locations for over two months, suffering from kidney failure and an irregular heart beat. He would have been 93 in December. His name was William Jaffe, and he leaves a wife, three children, four grandchildren, and 12 greatgrandchildren(another on the way in Dec.). He will be sorely missed by everyone.

There are no good words, but he is at a better place, I still remember the day my mother died...my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family who will miss him...

Elaine and I thank all our friends at CCDV for your kind expressions of sympathy at a very difficult time.

It is comforting to know that in times of distress especially, the guys and gals of CCDV are always there for you.

Very sorry to hear this Lee. I just read it. Our condolences to Elaine & your family. Nancy & I both know how it hurts to lose our parents. Hang in there dude... our prayers are with you guys.
