Where was the VIN located on the C2 corvettes?
A little off beat, but where did DUCK tape get it's name?

C2 VIN was located on a tag under the glove box.

Not sure on this, but I think DUCK tape is actually DUCT tape, used in sheet metal applications for heating and cooling systems. So many people called it DUCK tape the name stuck.

Honestly thats where i thought Duck tape got it's name too, but actually it was originally called Duck tape. The military needed a strong water proof tape. They said that this "new tape" repels water much like the feathers on a duck. And the name Duck tape was born.
