We are looking for a few good people at Verizon (the wage ranges shown are the typical starting wage and the top rate reached within 4 years):

Do you have a friend or relative who is looking for temporary
full-time employment? Verizon is recruiting external candidates for
Customer Service Representatives (Consultants) in Pennsylvania and
Delaware.

As part of the Verizon team, consultants are responsible for helping
our residential and business customers with Verizon's products and
services. Consultants handle requests from new and existing
customers about installation, billing and changes of telephone
service. Responsibilities include investigating and resolving
disputes, complaints and inquiries regarding customers' service.

QUALIFICATIONS: Verizon is seeking candidates who are
customer-focused and who have experience in meeting and exceeding
sales objectives. Candidates should have strong spelling and
keyboard skills, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously,
and operate well in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

LOCATIONS: Ardmore, Lancaster, Lehigh, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh,
Pa.
WAGE RANGE: $421.00 - $933.00 per week

LOCATION: Dover, Del.
WAGE RANGE: $421.50 - $939.00 per week

The schedule for all locations listed above is 37.5 hours per week.
The schedule is Monday through Friday and may require overtime.

What do you mean by temporary full time? Is the job only funded for a certain amount of time?

Temporary is the company's way of saying that you aren't guaranteed a job for life just because you get hired. The Service Rep job requires a lot of training and interpersonal skills that many people just can't cut. It's one of the few jobs we are almost always hiring people for. The job requires sitting on the phone all day taking service orders from customers and entering data into a computer. Lots of people don't like talking to customers on the phone. This job isn't so bad because you're only taking service orders, not repair service. These customers are usually in a better mood than the ones calling for repairs.

The ( Can you hear me now) job seems pretty cool but it requires to much walking :rolleyes:
