When the C-5 was introduced, I saw one in the dealership and noticed the Instrument Panel lights came on when the door was opened. My 97 has never done that in the 5 years I have owned it. All the interior lights operate normally except the IP lights. All lights work fine with the stalk controls. I have been all over the factory service manual and have asked other owners about it but can't seem to find a way to make the IP lights come on with the door. Makes no difference day or night. Can there be a way to reset them? Any insight to this would be appreciated.
