Checked them yesterday and found them a little loose. I was getting some noise from the rear. Has this been a problem on other C6's?

Tony check out this posting from the Corvette Forum, http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=1676084
It seems as if it is an issue and some people are actually using 2 nuts instead of 1 to lock it in place. This sounds like a good idea to me, I would probably us some non-hardening Locktite also.

Tony I have had three so far and have been checking all the c6's that come in the door so no trouble can even start.

take care of it the last thing you want is to have lose nuts.

tightie whities versus boxers might also help.

It just goes to show you how we can get off on a tangent. This website is like that game we played in elementary school, the one where the teacher tells the first student something then they tell the next and next and so on. By the time it gets to the end it completely different.
It started out when Tony found loose hardeware on his C6 wheel and Joel end up informing everyone that boxer shorts will not restrict ones testicles. ;bl
"It's like a box of chocolate you never know what your going to get"

In either case if your nuts fall off you're in BIG trouble..;yn;yn This is no laughing matter.

Don,seriously,in your 1st session with the therapist, it's important you tell him about using Loctite on your nuts.

Don, I read that post on the CF and since I had a noise I checked and they were loose. l tightened them and I haven't heard the noise yet.
