Dinner and a Movie

On Saturday August 11th we will be caravanning behind Dennis and Debbie Trayes from the Giant Supermarket, 760 Route 113 in Souderton, Pa to the Quaker Steak and Lube Restaurant in Bloomsburg, PAwww.quakersteakandlube.com (http://www.quakersteakandlube.com/)this is 130 miles one way.After dinner we will caravan to Becky’s Drive-In Theatre www.beckysdi.com (http://www.beckysdi.com/) in Walnutport, Pa. We won’t know until the week before what movies are showing at Becky’s but they have two screens with a double feature on each. If you want to caravan to the restaurant and not the drive-In or skip the Restaurant and head straight to the drive-In that’s fine we’ll see you there.However if your in for the whole nine yards here are the details.

Saturday August 11, 2007

We will depart the Giant supermarket at approximately 1:00 pm

Arrive at Quaker Steak Restaurant around 3:00

Dine from 3:00 to 5:00 or so.

Depart the restaurant by 5:00

Arrive at Becky’s Drive-In Theatre by 6:00.

Deb and I were there in May and it is a pretty neat place. Actually the place is bigger than it appears. Plenty of room in the dining area, large bar, and tables outside on the patio. The cars are all hanging on the walls and ceilings along with other car and motorcycle memorabilia. Hope you can join us.

So far, on one screen is RUSH HOUR 3 and the other screen is THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM The second features have now been listed. With Rush Hour 3, The Simpsons Movie and with The Bourne Ultimatum, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

Count one more car, Dad and I will go up Sat with the Vette. Include 2 possibly 3 for dinner, so that's 4 possibly 5 for dinner. After dinner we are heading back to the farm. Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.
