I think you need to add a procharger to that puppy. That should eliminate the check engine light! Lets at least add headers and change the exhaust. It's far tooo quiet.

Sounds like a garage trip to me... too many reasons are possible for CEL, there may have been a one time thing or it may be something on going... it's got to be scanned to determine. Anyone in the club with a Hypertech, DiabloSport, or similar tuner (fitting your car) can tell you what the code is but half the time it's worth taking in for service :cool:

What MY is your SS? I have a DiabloSport (fitting LS2/LS4) tuner (barely used on my GTO) that will tell us the code. We could meet up. Check out this link, if your SS fits in this list, my tuner can scan it for you:

I've sold my GTO tuner (a used DiabloSport Predator) and I'm delivering it Saturday noon.
Let's get together this evening or early Saturday... I can still use the tool and quickly read the code causing the CEL and you'll know what it's about at that point. I'll PM you my contact info.
