Hey Spence, I think I may need a tranny flush and fill. I'd like to do an oil cooler as well. I'm thinking it's better to get all the old crap out before I installl the cooler. What do you think???

Along those same lines the '08 A6 is suppose to have firmer shifts without the delays the '06 and '07's have. Is that a software fix or is it hardware?

Tony I would be glad to do your trans cooler and flush. If you want the cooler installed like Joe Signors you have to get upper cooler hose and i'll have to remove a/c condenser any questions pm me spence

Hey Steve, I forgot to ask... did you flush mine or just hot swap and top off the fluid? It only had ~4k on it so I wasn't really concerned. Do you feel the flushes can be postponed a bit longer since it's running cooler? What do you reccommend? On hot days I'm running in the upper 170's (used to be over 200 sitting still). Again, great job on the install.

Oh yes, I think I'd go with a tranny cooler too during my next service. Joe I think mine ran a bit cooler than Tony's since my tranny was replaced last July. I'll call you Steve when I make the appointment.;bt
