You can swap sides ONLY if you are using non directional tires. Most tires on Corvettes are directional and with these that can not be done.
A directional tire will have the word ROTATION on the sidewall with an arrow pointing in the proper direction. You can also tell by the tread pattern which will make it obvious.
Only way to swap sides with directional tires is to unmount and remount.

My partiular tires are actually made for each corner on my car and is impossible no matter what to move them around.... All 4 tires are different.

I had the same size tires and wheels on my C4's, that allowed me to rotate my Michelin's, with the stock different size tires there is no real advantage to rotating them, on a C5 not much you can do. :(

You just keep Mr. Glenn Murphy on your "speed dial" for all your C5 questions. He is a great source of info and help. I should know!

this reminds me of a story I will share with you all:

There was a guy who got a flat on the Roosevelt Blvd in front of the old Byberry mental hospital. So he pulls over and begins to change his tire. As he is taking off the lug nuts he puts the lug nuts into one of the hub caps. So he gets all the lug nuts off and as he steps back to get the spare, he hits the hubcap and all the lug nuts fly out and role down the sewer drain.

Now all during this time there is a mental patient watching him behind the fence of the hospital. So with the lug nuts gone the guy yells out "Oh no what the hell am I going to do now? So the mental patient yells over to him and says, all you have to do is take one lug nut from each wheel and your on your way. So the guys says to the mental patient;

Thanks, how did you think of that? and the mental patient says; I might be crazy, but I'm not stupid....
