My 91 coupe runs great on the highway and idles pretty smooth in park or neutral. But when I'm in drive and stopped at a red light, the idle seems to surge downward every few seconds, then rebounds to smooth idle. Then a few seconds later same thing, feels like it's going to stall out, dashboard lights flicker, etc. then bounces back.
Tune-up, new plugs, etc. about 500 miles ago so I don't think that's it.
I'm not much of a mechanic so I hope it's something simple. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
