My dad has retired and is FINALLY starting the resto on his 1979 T-top. He asked me if I could get a picture of the fuse box & what fuzes go where.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Don,
I can photocopy the drawing from the '79 shop manual & fax it to you. Let me know what number or I can scan it & e-mail it to you.
It's great that your Dad can now work on his car!

If you are planning a restoration, it would be wise to purchase a shop manual and any other related material that you can find.

Thanks Dancer, Emailing would be great. Email (ptldm73@neo.rr.com )

The big thing now is to get it running (to give him the incentive to get started on the rest). He's not going all-out-show-car-restoration, he wants a fully functional-as-it-was-in-1979 Corvette for his summer "let's drive the vette today" car and is willing to deal with the minor blemishes from being nearly 25 years old. (He says that if the car already has some dings etc, he won't go quite so ballistic if someone adds a small ding or scratch here or there, and he can enjoy the car as it was meant to be, by driving it...damn the rock chips, full speed ahead.

Hi, Paul,
I scanned in the fuse panel layout for Don & e-mailed it to him. It was a large file, but he said he got it & it was good.
I'd be glad to send, fax or e-mail it to you.
Just let me know.

Paul, I just now got your message and I see Dancer has already sent you the file. It IS huge, but it worked fine for me.
