Key fob covers

I've found the key fob on my C6 gets scratched and sometimes the buttons can get pushed when you have it in your pocket. I just orders some covers from the link below.

I thought about that. My guess is you will be able to program the new (finally) for 08 fob with enclosed key but they will run you at least $150 each.

Mark,a year or so ago ,we had Carl Rio of Good Vibrations
Auto Salon(463 &611) as a speaker.I seem to recall he said he could get fobs at a ridiculously low price for us.

Thanks, just ordered 2 of these myself. At $7, they are priced without the usual "Corvette Tax" which is surprising and even the shipping price was fair @ $1.74. I think since they are made of rubber that they might actually marginally help keep the fob from sliding out of a coat pocket too.

I think getting the 2008 fob with integrated key would work but I just don't see the need to migrate for the expense and hassle involved. I'm carrying housekeys already, so I don't think having a car key is really hurting me any. I buy a lot of novelty and dumb things but I just don't think I need the integrated key fob unless its damn cheap.
