Acutally the lunch and dinner thing is not a bad idea. You can bring a grill and some food to cook up to save a couple bucks though that alsways ends up costing more money anyway.
Meet you all at the track

Wish I could go, I stuck 390's in the rear of my Vette and would like to test it out...but I got to work for a living and have done a lot of traveling over the last two weeks and will be away quite a bit next week, so I quess I need to stay home and keep the boss (wife) happy.

I was at the Doc' yesterday for yet another set of X rays. He says it's better but I have to stay off it. Right, Hey doc I work for a living! Which means walking and traveling.
Believe it or not this ankle is still a little swollen and quite tender. I think I am going to pass on this event in hopes of making the 10/25 race.

I'm hope to go, but it all depends on the weather. I'll meet you guys over there if I do. Right now, they are calling for rain and if we get 500 F bodies for the SLP thing and another 100 vettes, it's gonna be a very very long day. Would like to try out Pewtie's new clutch....;yn
As much as i would like to see 100 Vettes, i don't think we will ever see that again. We have barley had 60 the past two events.
500 fbodies, is not likely. Yes there will likely be a lot and past history cannot be used as an accurate estimator as previous year SLP paid the bill but now it costs $20 for the slp event which sad as it sounds, I am sure will hurt car count.
Nonetheless, prepare for the worst and pray for the best.
