Not Another Teen Movie

This thing came out in 2001 but it still cracks me up for an hour and a half everytime I watch it. I just saw it on HBO.

It is HILARIOUS as it spoofs something like 30 different teen movies from "West Side Story" all the way up to "American Pie 2" with all the great one in between like "Pretty in Pink", "She's All That" and even a "Fast Times at Ridge High" and so many in between.

Have you seen it?

I just ordered the DVD so I can watch it as they explain all the movie spoofs as I don't recognize them all.

The movie showed up today, then my 52" TV blew up! I'm hoping for a reasonable repair bill, but who knows! I can tell you I just saw K-19 the Widowmaker and it was much better than I expected. Kind of a cross between Hunt for Red October and U-571. Very cool movie!

We don't rent many movies. Mainly because I like "action packed thriller dillers" ;bt and Nancy loves "Limey Chick Flicks";td So, we watch alot of HGTV.....;yn;yn;yn And afterall we find out where to plant our petunias and how to make a cardboard box into a sofa bed for two!! ;yn ;yn The Speed Channel, which should be renamed, Nascar TV, is getting worse and worse. So, we do something that less and less people our age do. ;tt;tt;tt

I'm glad I don't have to drive to Blockbuster anymore. My TV will be fixed today, within 24 hours of reporting the problem! $300 for a new power supply doesn't seem too bad considering the pickup and delivery included. I'm having big screen withdrawal, watching the little 27" in the family room!

Edgar - I remember in the mid 60's when our first color TV had a round screen. The Wonderful World of Disney was one of the first TV shows broadcast in color (did you watch on Sunday night?). Yes, I remember 27" being a big screen, and this TV was new in 1986!

Heck Carl, I remember when we got our first TV and the screen was only about 6"X 8"... Later my dad got this big magnifying glass gizmo that made the picture bigger and everyone look like aliens... He used to watch the Friday night fights...and every Sunday he'd fall asleep watching the Phillies. Some things never change...they still will put you to sleep. ;jj
