Can anyone recomend an exhaust system for a c5 that's queit until you get on it a little?
See your other post, Corsa is mello until you get on it, their Sport system is louder then their Touring system, if you are worred about it bring too loud get the Touring over the Sport system, with either system get their "X" pipe.
Stock system..
Any aftermarket will be louder..
If people want quiet. STAY stock... Very simple..

The Corsa Touring is close to stock at idle and cruise, but gets loud at wide open throttle. Not the most aggressive note but better than stock and no resonance.

Thanks for your replies. I went with the Corso Touring with the Tiger tips, and the x pipes. I let you know how it turns out

Jim,
You'll love the look and sound and they have a lifetime warranty.
I am sure you will be pleased. :)

I installed Flowmasters on Arleens 98.
Nice idle tone, good cruising. Jump on the throttle and you get the 60's Muscle car tone.
I LIKE them.

I had B&B Route 66 on my C5 and it was a nice muscle car sounding exhaust. Even after I put on headers & an x pipe it was mellow. Much deeper sounding than Corsa's or Borla's. Then I put GHL Magnum's on & wow, those baby's were really loud.
