Exhaust opinions???

I was wondering "mr Slapshot" which aftermarket exhaust systems have you put on C6's such as B&B's , Corsa's, Magnaflow's, Borla's, GHL's, SLP's, etc,etc and which have you found to have the best quality and ease of applications?? ;bl ;bl

Oh yes, I almost forgot...and which would NOT void any warranty questions as far as you would guess? ;y

I have Corsa Sports with quad tips and love them. The sound is perfect and the install was a breeze in my garage with nothing more than a floor jack and stands.

Mike,I have installed corsa,billyboat,and borla,depending how loud you want it......corsa being the loudest,b+b and borla the borla seemed to fit better.You should always get the mating intermediat pipe that goes with the system for best fit.

The Corsa Sports are louder than stock but not nearly as lound as some of the Borla or BB systems. Also, there is "0" drone at any RPM with the Corsa Sports. Corsa makes a system specifically for the A6 trans equipped Vette as well.
I did a lot of research before I went with the Corsa system.

Glenn and I recently installed a BB Route 66 system for a guy and overall it was a high quality system that bolted right in. The problem was the sound was not very good. It was too quiet at some RPMS and not smooth sounding at others. Their Bullet systems are REALLY lound if that's what you want.

Most web sites have sound clips you can listen to. Stop by my house and you can hear mine anytime.

Mark I've installed a borla the "stacked" muffler system and it sounded ok during cruise and got loud on accel.with no reverb. The best way I guess is to listen to them live and see witch one he likes the best.

Mike, you may want to look at Corsa Touring, a little louder than stock crusing, and good noise at full throttle.

I've been seeing lots of good deals on exhaust systems on the corvette forum. Now that C6's are turning over with some regularity parts are turning up more and more.

Richy, the answer is hell no.;yn However, I had B&B's on my C5. Then I later put GHL's on which were really loud. Sweetie didn't like them. ;tt I'd like to get something not too loud and I've leaned towards the B&B's. However, cost is an issue & I like them for the way they look even more than the sound. There are a lot of good deals out there now. I just wanted to get some input. The Corvette forum is all over the place. The best deal I've seen is on SLP's but they're ugly. :D
