I've seen two products being hawked in Eckler's and Mid America for some time now and I'm wondering if anyone has first hand info on them. One is a Inlet Faring that bolts right onto the Throttle Body and the other is a Smoothened coupler (No Steps) that replaces the stock coupler between the air filter and the throttle body. The combined cost is around $100. Of course they are claiming addl. HP of up to 20 (combined) I seriously doubt that, however it seems as if you should see some increase. Has anyone out there tried these products? Is it worth the money?

I don't know Don. I think I would go with a high flow air filter before the airfoil. That way you get the benefit of increased gas mileage and hp with normal driving. I think the airfoil and the smooth intake tube benefit you if you are looking to cut a couple tenths off your E.T.
I noticed a difference right away when I installed my filter even in normal driving.
But having said that, I was tempted to buy both of those items, like they say...couldn't hurt :D :D

Your right about the filter I put a K&N filter and felt a difference.
