Here are a couple of pis of a friend of mines hot rod that got it's first coat of Zaino yesterday. He actually started out with a rusted out shell of a body and built the entire car himself from fabricating the frame, making the front axle, welding in a station wagon roof, building a SS fuel tank, adapting a Jag rear, a pretty talented guy. This is the result of 10 years worth of work and I told him when he was finished I would give it the Zaino treatment. The only thing left to do is put on the headers (which he also built) after the engine breaks in so they don't turn blue,

Dan,

Zainotini is the new featured drink of The Liquid Assets Lounge and Good Times Garage. I like to garnish the glass with a little Mobil One around the rim.

One of my sons was telling me this weekend that Zaino is rumored to be comming out with a new and better product. Has anyone else heard about it or is it just one of those bs rumors being spread on the web?

There will be a few new products, the first two should be out soon, one is an all in one cleaner wax, the other that you may have read something about on a detailing site, here is the release. I have been using it for some time now, it kind of feels like you're cheating.

QUITE WORKING TOO HARD & WASTING TIME!

JUST APPLY & LET DRY!

Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal is finally here after years in development. From conception to realization, the principal and design emphasis of Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal was quite fundamental - an advanced total synthetic polymer protectant that is simply wiped on, and that's it! Yes, achieve Zaino award winning gloss and protective durability in ONE simple wipe on step. Wipe on, and walk away, you're done. No buffing. No final wipe down. Simplicity at it's best. Just apply & let dry.

Zaino is pioneering the industry with Z-CS, a self curing transparent sealer that doesn't require any buffing or final wiping. Z-CS dries clean and without residue. Use Z-CS on paint, glass, wheels, plastic, or trim for the protection, durability, slickness, and gloss that Zaino is most popular for.

No more short-lived-shine carnauba or silicone based products. No more weak or soft waxes that offer weeks if not mere days of protection. And finally, no more laboring over application. Z-CS is it.

For up to 9 months protection to top coat Zaino Show Car Polish protectants, or use Z-CS by itself (no ZFX). You can even use Z-CS as a top coat to add high-gloss and improved durability to ANY other manufacturer's product.

You'll have to forgive our enthusiasm for the release of Z-CS. We are VERY proud to have accomplished the height of product simplicity with a no compromise approach to cutting edge development and industry leading gloss and durability. There simply is not another product like Z-CS in the industry.

Less than 1/4 ounce of Z-CS will complete an average sized vehicle.

VOC free.

Wow, that sounds to good to be true. Will the other products still be aval?
Also, will buffing help the new stuff or is it not recomended?

Last question....Will this change the LAL forever?;at

Only problem is that it turns red cars white. See where the two test strips covered the paint.

Todd, simply put there is nothing to buff off. I like to go over the car with Z-6 or Z-8 when I am done just to get any lint off. Like all Zaino products a little goes a long way, and this is very true of the Clear Seal as well, it looks a lot like water or a light clear oil when putting it on, I find that on a new clean applicator if you give the applicator one spray (I am pretty sure this will come in a 4 oz small spray bottle, and let me say that I did my 07' Escalade 4 different times with 1 oz) of Clear Seal (not Z-6) and then one pump spray per panel (like half the hood would be one panel) and use the applicator and buff (rub) into the paint, and let dry, the end. I have also found that if you put the applicator in foil or a ZipLoc bag you can use the applicator again as long as it's not dirty, and I have pulled the applicator out of the bag a week later and there is still Clear Seal on the applicator, giving even better product life. I have done our Escalade in minutes because of the speed you can apply this. I am putting this on a C6 Z06 later this week, I will take some pixs. :)

Thanks, Sounds good Carl. Now another question(s). All my cars have had
exstensive Zaino applications....Will this need removal? Also, will the luster
be improved by multipal applications as the Z2 and Z5 do?

No removal at all, in fact I have found that a good base of Zaino Z-2 or Z-5 will make this stuff last longer than you will believe. this stuff is great on plastic, chrome, glass or trim, and of course paint. Multi applications does not make a difference, when I say that I am talking multi applications in a day are not recommeded, this has a longer cure time. You could do one application a day for several days but I have not seen any real advantage to that, but I am as we speak testing somethings on that subject.

Norm, testing is over, we have been testing this for almost 5 years, I believe Zaino is waiting on the labels, then it will be released. :)

Carl,

With many coats of Z-2 currently on my car and after applying Z-CS, can you or would you ever want to apply Z-2 or Z-5 again?

Carl,

With many coats of Z-2 currently on my car and after applying Z-CS, can you or would you ever want to apply Z-2 or Z-5 again?

Rich, Z-CS should be applied as your last "wax" step when your finish looks the way you want it to, the only time you would want to use Z-2 or Z-5 after applying Z-CS would be to take care of light swirls with Z-5, or over time as your protection diminishes you could add coats of Zaino polishes. I have a few of my cars that have had Z-CS applied to them, the cars had a Zaino base (Z-2, Z-5 with ZFX) , for maintance I wash the cars and then use Z-6 or Z-8 on them. I know many of my customers just like rubbing Zaino on their cars, with Z-CS you will be rubbing much less. :)
