Not with the frequency that your car breaks down. You might as well buy a trailer for your own use.

Richy, I have a SUV with a class 3-4 hitch. If ya break down, I'll come get ya as long as your vette is cleaned up and looks good. Then I can perform
AAAA service to "the cave" Oh, and by the way, Batman and Robin only
work on well maintained cars that include an unopened bottle of Vodka
or scotch for emergency use. :( ts

Seriously, Hope all goes well with your repairs ;aw

Thanks Todd,I appreciate the offer.Car problems really don't bother me.I'm
too old to worry about mechanical things that can be fixed or replaced.

Richie
You are never "too old to worry" about anything till you start farting dust. Also be glad it was just a belt on your car that busted...other wise your pants would have fallen down.

Another illiterate CCDVer---big surprise!

P.S.Since I already altered the theme of this thread(hijacking is too harsh a word),I want to update you on my car.The belt failure was due to a super -charger pulley which seized after ~ 14,000 miles of use.Failures of belts & pulleys seem to be problems which ATI still has not solved.Supposedly the
failures are even more common on C6s.After 3 years of driving my adrenaline pumping, blown Z,I'm ready for a completely stock C6.Any offers?

I start the bidding at one dollar..... You pay me a dollar and I'll take the car.

Just like Richy only thinking of himself. Not giving any consideration whatsoever to the dire financial straits that he will throw both Bryner Service Dept and ATI parts into if he sells his C5. ;bl ;gm ;bl

Don,

That's a very good point. Steve may have to start doing oil changes on Impalas to fill his days. Of course the way Richy drives I'm sure he'll break something.

Richy is it true that your C5 has more vertical miles on it from going up and down on the lift in the service bay than horizontal miles from actually driving it?
