Sunday September 21,2003 is the Ocean City Boardwalk show as many of you well know.

With regards to hurricane Isabel which is currently brewing in the Southern Atlantic (Sunday 9/14) I would think there is a very good chance that this show a week from now will be a wash.

The forecasting models right now are expecting NC landfall Wednesday /Thursday.

Just some heads up for any of you planning ANYTHING along the coastline next weekend! (like Irish Weekend maybe )

I was already thinking that the Boardwalk would not be the best place to be on Sunday, but I suppose we have a few more days to see how things turn out. This really has been a rained out summer.

Forecast for Sunday now (Thursday) looks like it should be a perfect day for the event.

Question. At the Boardwalk show are the cars roped off or do we have to watch them like a hawk ;faz all day?

no they are NOT roped off, if we parked together we could watch each others cars while owners were walking around...

Don, here's what it was like last year.
I had my car there and it was fine. One pointer, don't take the top off the car, the seagulls are plentiful.
Hey Bill, that's your car there in the 2nd shot, isn't it??

Yes it is...I was at 8th and the boardwalk less than a block from the house!!!! I hope I can get that close again this year.

Glenn, great pics! How'd you get the shots from way up high? Did you tow a cherry-picker there with your C-5?

From the up on the Music Pier balcony. Looks like this year will be as nice as last. And last year was a picture perfect day!

I always wanted to ask someone from "down there" what route you folks take to the shore. From here I've always gone turnpike, schuylkill x, vine st x, walt whitman, etc.
Lately with all the construction and the always present "roving PennDot crew" I've been going by way of the Del Mem bridge. Takes longer, but we're always moving.
