We would like to thank Don and his wife for the terrific time we had today. The Rally was just hard enough and long enough to make it interesting. Thanks for all your effort in planning this event.

Great job Don! I had fun and I only made it to the picnic. I'll be sure to run the next rallye.
Hopefully I can help put one together too so You can run in one. I'll have to drive one at least and then I'll attempt to put one together so you can drive!

Thanks again Don and Chris. Great job!

Congrats to Bob ( Torch Red) Rosenberg for coming in first place and winning the $30.00
Also Thanks to everyone who turned out despite the dismal weather forcast.
We stopped and put the top back down and then got caught in a downpour :( and the SUN WAS SHINING. Go Figure

We had a great time. This was the first event except for the CCDV meetings that we had the oppurtunity to meet other members in a social setting. I don't think you could ask for a better group of people. Both Chris and I want to Thank all those that attended, and we are looking forward to getting together again. Don & Chris Terranova

PS: For those that could'nt attend and are curious about the Rally, I've attached the Rally Question and Direction Booklet that we used on Sunday. If you have any questions about it email me. You can run the Rally on your on if you wish also. It begins and finishes at the pavilion at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve.

RESET ODOMETER

0.1….... Turn Right onto River Rd. RTE 32.

0.6……. Turn Right

1.3……. Turn Right (Follow Tower sign)

2.0……. NOTE: You should be in a parking lot at Bowman’s tower. You may wish to look around for a bit. There are not clues here so relax and enjoy. There is a$5 fee for going to the top of the tower (there is an elevator) the fee also includes 2 other sites. If you do buy a ticket, it’s good for a full year so you need not visit the other sites today. If it is a nice clear day it’s a fantastic site. If you brought a camera take it up.
When you’re finished here follow the exit sign out of the parking lot. Caution use LOW GEAR while descending the hill!

2.4……. Turn Right (caution here limited sight there is NO STOP SIGN).

3.1……. Turn Right

Don & Chris - I second everybody's compliments and congratulations. It was fun and I think the club should have two of them each year. Maybe early June and end of August which would allow flexability for rescheduling at a later date.

Again, great job & thanks for your hard work and effort.

Looks like it was great day for your event there, I was reading through the directions and it looks like a good ride, I've done a lot of those roads in past covered bridge tours i've ran. next time i do one, i'll have to print these off and look for them clues.

But the questions and directions were only part of the rally. Don also printed out color pictures of sights along the way and each team had to put the pictures in the order we saw them. Then once we returned, there was a crossword puzzle on the back page made up of some of the roads we used. It was a lot of fun.

Paul and I had a really good time. This was the first time we joined an event, so I was a little nervous about meeting everyone. As we entered the pavilion we were greeted like old friends. What a group!! Wow, I am so happy we are a part of CCDV. Joe and Chris are exceptional people. The rally was FUN and the picnic was a great ending to a great day. Thank you for putting this event together! Hope to see you at the Hot Dog Run. Ginny
