The GM ZZ4 has 355 horsepower. check with your local dealer or there's always GM parts direct. (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com)

Mike:
I live on Lansford St. (right off Academy Rd.) below Grant Ave. I recommend you contact some of the advertisers in the Gas Cap newsletter for help (JD's or the Vette Shop, etc) with the new engine order & installation. I also have another more local garage that I use in n/e Philly. Call Darby's service station at 215-332-6311 & speak to Charlie the mechanic. Mention I recommended you!
Let me know if you need more info. My home number is in the newsletter & my work phone is 215-467-3300 ext. 238.

Mike,

You may want to check out Edelbrock's catalog. They have a number of crate engines available. So does GM. You should be able to find them on the compnay websites. Give it a try.

The cheapest place I have seen is Apple in I think in york Pa.. (you can pick the engine up and save the shipping). They have adds in most hot/street rodding magazines. I would get a quote from them and then check with Bryner as Club members get a discount in their parts dept.

Don Lemek got a crate 502/502 and the best price he got was at Bean Pontiac in Limerick. I told Don about the place and if you know Don, he ALWAYS goes to the best price vendor. Ask for Gene in the parts dept. Check out this thread....
