I know it's early but I was a little late posting the last race and want to give everyone enough time to make plans to get to this one. Quick 4 will also be running. It's worth the trip just to see these guys run 9's and 10's in Vettes. So...................................

Who's in?

Tony I will meet you all a the track.

Team I am really sorry I've not spent more time with you. Between resolving issues, greeting drivers, tuning the Vette between runs and oh yes, winning a few rounds, I don't have much time.

Yes the Quick 4 will be back in action.

The points chase is in full swing. With my runner-up finish this weekend I moved up to 4th and really wish I can race one of the guys ahead of me or I will never have a chance to catch them.

And don't forget the rookie race with our Joe Signore holding off Chris Young, who while a rookie in our series, is a seasoned racer.

"IN"....

Edgar....
You are 100% right on in your thinking...

I too desire to race other guys who are ahead of me.

As someone once said, "to BE THE MAN, you gotta BEAT THE MAN".

We are all only going to get better by racing better racers....

Not being able to attend the Nov 1 event, I NEED to make a move 9/20 & 10/25!!!

My car has been disappointly somewhat inconsistent this year, and I am trying to fight thru it.

It definitely affects one's confidence when you approach the line with uncertainty as to how your car is going to respond.

All the practice in the world doesn't seem to help when there are unsolved mechanical issues with one's car...

However, I'm still having fun running my car, and thats my bottom line, no matter how frustrated I may get when I don't advance to the later rounds... Oh well.

My goal at this point is to be in the top 10 by the series end, even with a missed event...

Right now I plan (who knows what else can happen) to be there to try out my new clutch. It really feels good, but, I won't really know if there's any difference until I make a few runs. As far as the points, I'm so far behind and having missed a couple of events, and I'm going to miss a couple more, who cares! It's a shame that I smoked that clutch when I did, since I was finally getting my lights & 60' times down... to competitive levels. But, as long as I win a few runs that I'm not supposed to win, I'll be happy!;hs

Al, if you'd like to go but don't think you can drive, just let us know. I'll pick you up if nobody else can. The team needs your experience.

Still on baby watch.
As of today, my daughter is due Sept. 23, but as everyone knows, that is always subject to change.

Pending any last minute contractions, I plan to to be @ e-town on the 20th.

Yo Richy and Al,

What's up Richy? Apparently you unretired before you retired!!!!
If you retire, then I will be the oldest racer in CCDV - I can't let that happen! I will expect to see you on the 20th, or else!

Al, sorry to hear about your ankle. You have to be @ e-town on the 20th because we need your consistent times!!! If necessary, I will be glad to personally tape the ankle for you.
