thought this might be interesting to your club ... i've been fighting pine sap on all my vehicles for years ... never really found a good remover ... messed up a lot of clearcoat trying to get the stuff off ...

picked up my wife's car at the body shop ... asked my body guy if he could recommend something ... brought out a can off ARDEX 6232 SAP ... tried it on the car ... un-freakin-believable ... 7 bucks a bottle ... bought two bottles!

ardex labs , with a room open to the public, is located near you guys at : Ardex Laboratories Inc. 2050 Byberry Road, Phila 19116 ... phone 215 698 0500 ...

they have everything in this retail showroom for your car ... i was really impressed ... hope this is helpful to those of you in lieu of getting out the chainsaw!

Very coincidental. I just came from Ardex and I also brought home a bottle of the 6232. I bought it becasue they did NOT have any bug remover in stock..

I also bought one of the very last bottles of 6224 Speedy Bright, their great tire dressing that I have used for years... There is a certain chemical used in this stuff that they told me they can not longer use by PA state regulations. So what they have is it..:o

The guy admittedly said the replcement for the 6224 is not as good as the origional....

Ardex does make a full line of detailing products that are very good. They are no cheap, but you get what you pay for....

I personally like Ardex.

For me, anything for detailing that does not come from Carl, comes from Ardex.

For detailer Ardex is cheap, our shops used some of their products some years ago, reminds me a little of Chemical Guys

I'm not a real big fan of Ardex products..
I know many professional shops use Ardex, but I think the 3M & DuPont lines are used by higher end shops.

I use PPG's DX-330, It removes sap, tar, silicone, wax, clear coat safe. It runs around $30.'s per gal.
