Can anyone tell me how to repair a dim indicator lens? There are 4 lights, 3 work fine, the passenger side rear works but is very faint (71 coupe). Hope it's an easy fix! Thanks in advance WB

All I can think of would be to clean the ends and make sure they are fully inserted at each end. Also possible the line is damaged/nicked somewhere along the way.

I am not an expert at this but I have a 71 that has this and works fine. Let me know how you do.

Bob you were right! The end of the fiber at the console was not fully inserted into the housing. It was very close but not totally in, that must be why it was working yet dim. The fiber is larger then I thought it would be, if you compaired it to fishing line it would be 100lb. test or higher. Well it's working like new! Thanks Kevin
