vacuum hose cruise cont. to brake disconnect

Hi everyone. I am looking to disconnect and replace vacuum lines in my '91. There is a 1/4" line from the cruise control going into the round power brake housing (in the center below) just behind the master cylinder. I was concerned about breaking the connector and I didn't want to pull too hard. I can't see it but I can get my hands on it. Does anyone know if I should just pull this off? I can't feel the connector (can squeeze the line) but it may be just inside the unit. Thanks for your help.
