At first, I thought this was a joke.

Are some C6-coupes sustaining roof delamination? It's said to cause the outer layer of painted roof models to peel back and tear off!

A "TSB" covers 2005-2006 model year Vettes, and blames high temperature and humidity along with exposure to "stresses" as the leading causes of roof adhesive failure.

I honestly have never heard this one before. Anybody else?

The report lists these vin numbers...

2005 Chevrolet Corvette 55100002 - 55135053
2006 Chevrolet Corvette 65100001 - 65100046

I wonder why this problem popped up with the C6, after all those years of producing targa tops. Never heard of a similar problem with the C4 or C5.

GM may have gone to a different supplier of the glue used to hold everything together.

I read this about several C5 coupes, of course they were just not latching their tops. :(

My new roof is now comming unglued! Going to call the dealer tommorow. Apparently looking at the corvetteforum this is a really bad problem for just about every 05-06 corvette. Even the glass tops are becomming delaminated.

Noot good for the Corvette name.
