Hi gang,
Could you advise which Bennigans you meet at before rolling up to the event?
Thanks,

I am heading out there on Friday, if others are meeting at Benigans, I will go there even though it ads an hour and a half to my trip.

Hang out at the rest area that is just east of the Valley Forge Exit (where 202 goes over the turnpike) and pick us all up there as we come by!
If you email me your cell number I can call you when we're coming up to that point.

Well, I got a flat tire at about 7PM this evening. All I did was go out to fill the gas tank and that was all it took. Nobody can fix it tonight so I'll be riding shotgun for Wheelz. Talk about being bummed. :(

I have another whole set of 4 C5 runflats mounted on my OEM 2002 high polished rims. If you wanna bolt em on tomorrow morning, you are welcome to them. You'd have to get down here pretty earlier, but if you want to borrow them, I'd be happy to get up early and help ya bolt em on. You could even come down tonight and grab em if you want.
Glenn
Call me if you want them

Glenn, you're one of the most generous people I know and cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate the gesture. Any earlier and it would have been a nice plan. But Mike is already asleep figuring to be here early to pick me up. No sense switching gears now. I'll settle for a pat on the back when I see you tomorrow. Thanks again.

Thank you, to everyone who offered to help me out today. I decided to just buy a new tire today at Carlisle and bring it back. Wheelz and I weren't sure how we were going to fit it in his car with his buggy but we did. Special thanks to Bob Rosenberg for coming down to the car to make sure it fit in case we needed to implement "Plan B" and have him take it home. Thanks guys.

And just when you were about to loose faith in your fellow man in comes Glenn :D
That was a nice gesture. We need some more people like you in the world.

Okay - so who bought what project or dream car at Carlisle?

I bought a '76 promo model! Does that count for anything? And I hear Sean F. bought a '67 maroon air - auto coup that was for sale in the swap area near the Lemek's & Waldron's spaces. It looked real nice & I hear he got a bargain price! Don't know if it's for real so I won't say anything more about it. We'll have to wait to get a confirm from him. And Rick Ball picked up a nice set of side pipes for their '65! That's all I know.

Joel - Is the promo a PROJECT?
A '67 with air - eh? I'm not a wealth of info on that genre ... but somehow that sounds llike a HTF car.
Did we have a Membership Tent there ... or was it just a hang-out / rest spot for members? I've never spent and real time at Carlisle.

Steve:
The promo model will only be a project if I decide to paint it yellow. There were 2 that year: mahogany and white (which is more expensive - but that's what I bought). They all had 2 major flaws: the rear deck behind the rear window has louvers like on the '75 (there weren't any louvers on the '76!) and the front grills are painted chrome (they were actually black!).
The Club's space did have a tent - covering, but the space is basically a meeting place or someplace to drop off parts, etc. while you do more shopping or whatever. Rick & R brought ice chests & bought bottled water & soda for members to enjoy. It's always nice to have a place to sit a spell &/or get out of the sun for a while.

Ok Steve.
Heres what I got. A restored clock for my 65 convt..
The original clock is going in the 65 coupe that I'm doing.
I purchased a New set of Mid Year side exhaust for the 65 coupe also. Should sound real sweet with the Big Block. ;)
Arleen sniffed out someone selling Diamond and Onyx rings
My knee was hurting too bad to go car shopping.
Wish I had seen that 67 air Coupe though :)
All in all I had a good time.
