Anyone putting there car in the Fort Washington Expo Center the end of the month? Sounds like it might be a big event. I don't know if there is a year cut off, but Jason (my son) got in with his 02. and I am taking the Pro Street 65.

well I was going to go till i see tha cars that will be there and I dont think I would match up to that stuff.

Steve. what are you talking about! Some people may not like custom Vettes but all the work on yours is beautiful and was done right. No one can say there is shoddy workmanship on it. It is a unique car and it would be a shame to not display it. Go for it!;bt

Steve, I agree with everyone. I saw your car at the cavalcade last year and it was one of my favorites. The show down there has a couple of rat rods, a couple cars "under construction", etc. The interior on my car is not quite finished yet, but I figure who cares, it will be fun!!
Hey Don, which car is yours?? the black one or the brown one?? I saw both of them last year at the cavalcade too.

Thanks Appreciate....With such a nice show as this, I can only wonder if it is a "one and done" kinda thing, or if they will try and find another "non-union" facility...I can't believe they would move it all the way to Carlisle at the new expo center like I have been hearing, but where else is their ample room to hold a show of this size??
You know, I am just awestruck at some of the elaborate setups these cars have..especially the 67 camaro called "Imagination"......Anyone of about 5 cars could take Best of Show..I guess we will find out tomorrow.

Thanks Ron.....A nice event...Friend of Mine has a '66 Daytona race car and he took first in his class....I was so happy just to be at the event, so when they called me as a class winner for 2nd in my class, I was very taken back as they say....Didn't expect anything, except to make new friends and enjoy the time their.....so many deserving cars.....the 1957 belair took best of show.
Bill...How did you make out?? They were calling the names so quickly, I might have missed the car u were working on.....

Congrats Andy!!!! That 66 was right behind me!! Sweet car!! As for that Camaro, "Imagination", that is Ken Faust, a friend of mine. He takes awards at every show and won a top 10.
As for the show moving, rumor has it that the management company that ran the expo center is curerntly looking at 2 locations in the area. PA state and the county want to keep a new expo center close to where it currently is...hopefully they can find something soon. Also, as for being a once and done show, I don't think so. The plan with Mid-Atlantic and the investors behind the show want to keep it as an annual event.
On another note, I will post up a few pics I took when I get them off of my camera!! Nice to finally meet Bill B.!! Tell you what though Bill, you were looking pretty beat by Sunday!! LOL

Wed. 8hrs, Thurs. 10hrs, Fri. 13hrs, Sat. 11hrs, Sun. 9hrs. I've been retired for 5 years and haven't worked a 40 week in quite a while. I was dragging BUT...I got to drive the 32 in the lobby to the owners house in Doylestown. I think that I'm now hooked on hot rods.... Got to go out now for a lottery ticket.....:D

WOW, 51 hrs worked, (During retirement) I believe that intitles you to 5 weeks off to recoupe.
