Thanks guys! I'm pretty satisfied with the results in this weather. I got 7 runs in but it took all night. By the end it was a 2 hour wait. All runs were in the right lane at Atco.
Here are the times after Yank3000 TC and new BFGs:
_R/T_60'__ET___MPH__LAUNCH_DEG
.779 1.91 13.13 103.78 1000rpm 90*
.652 1.94 13.17 103.78 1500rpm 89*
.603 1.94 13.17 103.83 2000rpm 89*
.501 1.91 13.18 103.92 2200rpm 87*
.514 1.90 13.03 104.69 2200rpm 82* opened driving light holes
.683 1.88 12.93 105.20 2200rpm 75*
.477 1.87 12.94 104.55 2200rpm 71* (my windows were fogged!)
I found I could not hold the car back above 2200RPM. Higher RPM doesn't seem to help my 60' but it helps me zero in on RT's. I'll have to practice staging a little deeper and drop the RPM down a little. R/T still seems to be my worst enemy.
Here are the times from the last Challenge (all left lane):
2.08 13.54 102.17 1000rpm (little wheel spin)
2.28 13.78 102.18 1100rpm (more spin)
2.70 14.42 101.24 1200rpm (wheel spin like crazy)
2.10 13.59 102.21 idle (not much wheel spin)
2.10 13.53 102.73 idle
2.11 13.54 102.84 idle
2.10 13.55 102.69 idle (more consistent at idle w/street tires, Thanks Al Betz)

Excellent times Joe. What's the most impressive are your 60' times.;bt Actually, people tell me, that as you break your DR's in, your 60' times should actually improve. What tire pressure were you running? Also, are the asterisk figures the temps? I assume they are and as you can see by the forcast, we'll all probably be a little off tomorrow. Hope the power's on.;tt See ya tomorrow!

Way to go Joe! Nice consistent times. The air was fairly dry yesterday, we'll probably have much higher humidity tomorrow. It's interesting to see how your mods are helping too, especially with the sticky tires. I tried to get some DR's but struck out on getting the right wheels.

Mike, you're correct, those are the temp figures as shown on my cars readout after each run. Atco's slips show no weather at all. As it turned out I had the wrong tire gage with me. I had one that starts at 20lbs, so I was leary on going too low. The first pass was at 24 and I noticed I was hardly touching any side tread. I dropped it to 22 and did 2 more passes. I was getting excellent traction but still had more tread left that wasn't being utilized so I took it down to 20 for the rest of the runs.
Even though I was getting good traction my thought is that I'll get better tire life if I spread the load across as much tread as possible. Tomorrow, I may even try my first pass without much heating and see if they still stick. I figure if my car isn't putting out an insane amount of torque, I shouldn't need to heat cycle them as much as some people.
I was about to say, "tires don't grow on trees", but I guess they do! :D

Cool I thought that you'd make it.
