We'd love to see some your members try to make it.

Cruise Night
Cruise night in Macungie Park August 16 7-10 PM with "The Oldies Rock & Roll Show" and the Teeter Totter. Get there early for a good parking spot if the weather is good. Last Month they had over 500 cars. The Macungie Memorial Park Association will be charging $1.00 per car entrance for the monthly cruises. This will be for repair and reconstruction of the childrens play area. The Wheels of Time SRA have nothing to do with this practice. But for a Buck you get Live Music, food vendors on site or Restaurants within walking distance..

Father Larry, how about some directions? Our cruise night is on the same night but someone may want to come check it out.

Depending on where you're coming from, it would vary. If you are taking the NE extension of the turnpike, from the Phila area, get off at exit 33 Lehigh Valley. Pay toll and take 78 west to the exit for route 100. Take route 100 south about six miles right into the town of Macungie. Macungie park entrance is on the left hand side in the center of town, right across from the Bear Swamp Diner.

If you're coming up routh 309 north then continue until you reach I78 west towards Allentown. Get off at Cedarcrest blvd (route 29). Make a left off exit and follow routh 29 to the end of Cedarcrest blvd. You can go left or right. There will be a Sovereign Bank on the corner, right hand side. Make a right. You'll still be on route 29. Follow route 29 about 3 miles. When you reach route 100, make a right. There's an ice cream place at the top of the hill on the right hand corner. Go slow down route 100 because it's very twisty and they call it dead man's turn. Continue on route 100 until you come into the town of Macungie. Entrance will be on the right hand side to the park. Hope this helps.
