OK Guys, here's the deal. We need articles for the Gas Cap. This is your news letter and I'm sure there are a lot of great stories waiting to be told. If you're shy about writing about yourself or an experience contact one of the regular contributors. We'd be happy to help in that department. If it involves racing contact me. Sue Magaruh and hubby Steve stepped up to the plate when asked to and have provided insights into some of our members in their "Hoods Up" articles, so if you like to show your car and would like to be featured in the Gas Cap they are the people to contact. Keep up the good work Sue and Steve you're doing a great job! Do you have a funny story or a car related joke? Jot it down and send it off. It doesn't have to be long. If you've gone on one of our events and would like to share your views, jot them down and send them off. People want to know what they've missed and maybe plan on going to the next one. Any article can be submitted to Bob Rosenberg our Editor. His contact numbers are in the Gas Cap. Let's get some variety back into "Our" News Letter. ;bt

Tony - I tried to find a link to you personally, but you did not appear under CCDV Members. Not sure if I did something wrong.
Anyway, I'd like to point out that we should probably look at the size of the GasCap. Printing "x" amount of pages should not be a requirement, but rather, printing time/date sensitive information should come first. Everything thereafter can be used as filler. As an example ... I recall a recent issue where one page was entirely blank ... and a full page JC Taylor insurance form was printed as well. I would have thought that those two pages could have been omitted ... unless we have a contractual obligation to print the JC Taylor stuff. In addition, the layout (including design, font and font size) contribute to the use of excessive print space. Proper design & layout would save $$$ every month.
Does the club receive information from General Motors or Bryner Chevrolet? As an newsletter editor, I used to receive a plethora of information from vehicle manufacturers ... both text and photo.
Just thinking out loud.
