I have been going to the Ocean City car show for quite a few years and four years ago I started to push members to come down and spend a great day at the beach. Each year we grew larger and in 2003 and 2004 we missed winning the club participation award by just two car. Well this year we made it. We beat local clubs in N.J. . Thanks to the 30 cars and most of all thanks to the members who came out to enjoy the sun and friends. As I have said before this is one of the best shows in the area and for those of you who missed it this year come with us next year and see for yourself what a great day it was. We won $100.'s and we will put each car owners name in a hat and draw a winner. So if we win again next year you also can win some $$$$$$$$$ !!! Thanks everyone for showing what a great club we have !!

It was really neat to see...ALL OF US WIN...when CCDV won the award for the most represented club. On the other hand there is no reason we shouldn't have 50 or 60 Vettes there next year.

Since I've been attending the Ocean City event, the weather has always been good. There is pleanty of stuff to keep the wife busy <spending money in the stores> and being in good company with great people and seeing lots of cars to admire is fun.

The only down side is the Sea Gulls....They make you feel you are being crapped on just like being at work. Next year we got to go down four blocks and feed the gulls in another clubs area and help them understand natures digestion.

Just a thought.

Congratulations to CCDV for winning this year as best club participation. It's great to see the pictures of everyone having fun and displaying their cars.

Unfortunately I could not make it due to other commitments but I will be there next year.

Again, great job to everyone.
