What is the 2nd longest running CCDV club event?
ANSWER: The Hot Dog Run - 21 yrs.
This event started with only a few members attending. We caravaned to the Poconos and enjoyed the ride and the fall foliage. We stopped to eat at a place called Jimmy's Hog Dog Stand. Everyone who attended wanted to make it a yearly club event. Hence, the name Hot Dog Run.
Just ask Don Lemek. He has missed birthdays, weddings, baptisms, and family celebrations but has never missed a Hot Hog Run. One year we caravaned with 84 cars. Let's see if we can top that number this year.

I'm wasn't around last fall because I didn't become
a vette owner until November 04. When I joined the
club in December, one thing that caught my eye was the HD run and many vettes and the fall colors.
This year, I may not have my vette(temporary) and
I see you don't need your vette, but ah em wouldn't
I be out of place? :p :D

John,
You're not that old but at your age you shouldn't be eating hot dogs. I Don't think they are on the AARP approved diet.

Bring that Z06 with you, us "old people" will show you how to drive that dam thing.
I never seen anyone want to ditch a Z06 to get a C4.

If it was a vegetarian hot dog run, I could handle it. But you know, carrying the oxygen tank around gets old.
Now where did I leave my cane? ;cc ;cc ;cc

John,
Your're assuming there was meat in the hot dogs to start with.

It's actually saw dust. I'll buy you a beer sometime soon and we'll celebrate with some all beef dogs.
