Meet at: Bennigan’s Parking Lot, Willow Grove
Bennigan’s is on route 611 about 1/8 mile north of Willow Grove PA Turnpike Interchange.
Leave Bennigan’s: 6:00am

If you live west of Willow Grove or if Bennigans is just not convenient for you, you can meet at Stop #2.

Stop #2
Where: Service Plaza / Rest Area on Westbound PATP milepost 328.4
This Service Plaza is between Norristown Exit (333) and Valley Forge Exit. (326)
Arrive When: Approximately 6:15am.
We will stop here to gather anyone that wants to meet us there and for anyone to use the Plaza’s facilities.
Leave Stop #2: about 6:30 – 6:45am

Should Arrive Carlisle 8:45am

Hey Glenn I hope you don't mind I copied your Friday Carlisle run post and pasted it for a Saturday run. It was too thought out I had to use it.
Can you email me or call me with the directions that you use? I know you have a short cut we used it in 2003.
If anyone knows the way and plans on leaving early we can put you in front and we'll follow you.

Directions to Carlisle: The Back Way in
Get off PATP at exit # 242, take I-83 North about 1.5 miles and stay in the LEFT lane so you can get onto route 581 west. Follow 581 about 3 miles and then get onto I-81 south. Get off I-81 at the next exit, Exit# 57. At the top of that exit ramp turn right onto route 114. Follow that about 3/4 mile to the end. Turn left onto route 944 and follow 944 about 3 miles and watch for 944 to turn left. Take that left to stay with 944. Follow 944 another 3 miles to route 34. (this is a somewhat blind interesection so be careful). Turn left onto route 34, follow about 4 miles, you will go thourgh an underpass (PATP) and when you come out from under that underpass look for Gate #3 to the Faigrounds on your left.

Here it is in short form:
1) PATP west to exit # 242
2) I-83 north to route 581 West
3) 581 west to I-81 south
4) I-81 south to next exit, Exit# 57
5) At top of exit ramp turn right onto route 114
6) Follow Route 114 3/4 mile to end
7) Turn left onto route 944, keep watching signs for 944
8) 3 miles down, 944 turns left, take that left, stay on 944
8) Follow route 944 another 3 miles to route 34.
9) Turn left onto route 34
10) Follow route 34 about 4 miles, after underpass look for gate 3 to fairgrounds on your left.
