I've been looking at replacing the stock airbox on my C6 for some time. I looked at everything available and ended up picking the Halltech Stinger. With Glenn's help, and a couple of beers, we installed it the other night. It was by far the easiest go-fast part I've ever installed. I think it took longer to drink the beer. A very well engineered kit.
My "seat of the pants" dyno tells me it made a real difference.
Halltech is ownned by Jim Hall, x-racer from way back and great guy to talk to.

Rich has an excellant point.. :D
The Liquid Assests C6 vs. the Outlaw, will tell the difference.
That Stinger Intake certainly DID make a difference in Mark's C6.
Mr. Outlaw, I think a rematch is coming.

This time I want Nick driving the Outlaw instead of Glenn.
I've added about 8 coats of Zaino so my car should be even faster as it slips through the air.
By the way, who's the big mouth that spilled his guts? Before you know it I'll be accused of doing big smoky burnouts in other people's cars.
I had several Halltech intakes until switching to Vararam, I was always pleased with their products, you just have to watch some of the performance numbers on their site, I was never able to match their dyno gains, but their intakes made more hp than anyone except one. :) Now you just need some long tubes. ;)

Well I will say this much. Marks C6 is a hot car, no question about that. I only got him by a 1/2 car if that. So maybe, just maybe we will do it again, only this time the outlaw will be driven by yours truly. There will be a few mods in the next couple of weeks. new custom exhaust, long tube headers and a few other items that should give me a bit more torch. Got to keep up with the new kid on the block, and besides , I can use all the help I can get to pull out in front of that awsome yellow C6.

Nick,
With the addition of headers, new exhaust and a new shifter I don't stand much chance against the Outlaw. You car is an great ride in both looks and performance.
Best regards,
Mark
