August 10, 2003 - Corvettes for Kids. Washington Township Elementary School on Route 100 just South of Bally, PA. Pre-registered cars parking begins at 10:00am, general gate open 11:00am to 4:00pm. Pre-registration $20 by July 4th. "Each August since 1986, Corvettes for Kids, Inc. has been sponsoring a Corvette show whose proceeds benefit local children with life threatening illnesses or conditions."

I know we had several cars last year. I was hoping to pre-register this year, but just found out about the 7/4 cutoff date. Anyone else going? It was HOT last year!

Mary and I will be there.
It was HOT last year!
I noticed that too. It probably had something to do with the foam leg immobilizer I had on. ;bl

I'll try not to "blow up" my knee this year. It's easier walking that way ;bt

Here's some advice I got from a friend. I can't believe we didn't know about this, considering the number of cars we had:

If you were there last year and you did not receive notification in the mail you can call Bernadette @ 610-344-7345. They are running the show without the old director and they have had some problems. They still may be able to accept your entry.

Hi Vet Boy ,,,,,,, sheesh I really could not tell you who was there . I have been trying to get to some of the functions to meet some members ,,, on sunday I wore a forum T shirt and sure enough I did . Jeff and his wife were kind enough to introduce themselves as well as wayne 69 427 . At any rate it was a good day with lots of nice cars and people . And the heat was not too bad this year .

I was there with my wife. We got a good spot under a tree. Great cause, but not too good of a turn out this year. Usually, the cars are piled to the top of the hill. Maybe next year I'll hopefully run into some of you guys.
