I went last year and I'll tell you guys it is pretty cool! There were about 265 Corvettes that met at the airport, then at 10:30am we all headed for the boardwalk which happens to be about a 10-12 block drive. All the people in town are expecting it and they are lined along the streets just gawking at all the Corvettes. The police stop all traffic at every intersection and there is a police escort through the entire trip from Airport to Boardwalk, a non-stop parade. Bill Burkholder was there too and I remember seeing JT-C5.

I will probably go to this, but might wait for the "day of show" registration. I don't think I really need to be up on the boardwalk for hours if its a lousy day. I do remember last year was hot as can be. It looked like a great opportunity to do something rare like drive on a boardwalk which I've walked on 50 million times.

We could sit by our cars, eat funnel cake, fresh cut fries, hawaiian shaved ice and pizza all day. Sounds like fine plan of self indulgence.

JT, that's exactly how I did it last year! I registered right there at the airport. I was not pre registering and then having it rain! I was only making the trip if the weather was perfect, which it was last year! There is no problem at all regestereing the morning of the show, which from what I saw was how about 90% of the entrants entered last year.

Unfortunately, we're going to the very very big show down in Ocean City Maryland the following week. ;yn We went 2 years ago and let me tell you, the only place I've seen more Corvettes was in Carlisle. ;cb It's the whole first weekend in October if anybody's interested. I'd love to go to both, but we've already commited to something else that weekend. Sounds good..
